I brought my handsome 11 year old son in for a fade, to the Middletown location. Unbelievably, he left there even more handsome! John did an EXCELLENT job on his hair. We are both very happy! Nice clean shop, we didn’t have to wait and John and the other barber working were very nice. This is our new place!
when we went the first two times they didn't cut his hair right. But we still gave them another try now My son loves this place he loves how they cut his hair he won't go anywhere else but there very professional work! I just think the first guy was new and the second one didn't understand what my son wanted.

This was my first visit and it was great. I have been growing my beard out for a while and I need it trimmed so I decided to try this barbershop. I explained to the barber the type of beard shape I was going for. He immediately went to work with no hesitations. 15 minutes later I was done and we'll groomed. I will be returning again when needed and I will post before and after pics.
I used to go to other barbershops my whole time living in Delaware, but I always felt like they could've done a better job. Then I tried Amstel, and I loved it. I went for the first time with my brother, and I've been going back ever since. Already told lots of my buddies about this place, and they've loved their cuts too. This place is a real BARBERSHOP ... No spas, no massages. Just a great place to go get a fresh cut from some cool dudes for a great price. The atmosphere is great, and there's virtually no wait (unless they're busier than usual). Each barber is very talented at cutting hair, so there's never really a need to ask for a certain barber imo. They're very careful meticulous, and they will make sure that they give you exactly what you asked for. I feel like you never have to worry about not having a hairstyle come out they way you thought it would when you go here; they really do an awesome job. They manage to do a great job pretty quickly, too! It's like you're in and out of there in no more than half an hour if you're there for just an average clean up. Amstel is really one of those places where you truly feel that you got every penny's worth of what you paid for. Definitely recommend it.
My son got his hair cut twice the first time I have a review on what had happened the second time I spoke with Rob he was working at a different location I'm assuming because I was in Middletown he was so accommodating that I got the haircut for free and it was done perfect thank you so much I do recommend the Barber's Hunter and Tom among others thank you so much for your help with my son and his hair.
